Ray Shield Fisher Guardian System

Overview

The Ray Shield Fisher Guardian is tailored for aquaculture and coastal fishery zones. By networking multiple compact radars, it delivers continuous, all‑weather coverage across pens, channels and approaches—reducing installation and manpower costs versus EO‑only setups.

Features

  • All‑weather 24/7 sensing; fog/rain/night resilient
  • Multi‑radar coverage with handover and track fusion
  • Automatic alerts (intrusion, drifting object, vessel proximity)
  • Map‑based HMI with zones, schedules and event logs
  • Lower install & maintenance effort than EO‑only belts
  • Optional EO handoff for visual confirmation

Subsystems

  • Radar Nodes (detection)
  • Edge Gateway (fusion & backhaul)
  • HMI/Server (control, archive, reporting)
  • Optional EO Pod(s) for visual verification

System Components

  1. Compact Coastal Radar Nodes (×N)
  2. Edge Gateway with aggregation and LTE/fiber backhaul
  3. Central Server / Cloud HMI
  4. Mounting & Power Packs (AC / solar‑battery options)
  5. Networking & Lightning Protection
  6. Documentation and SOP templates

Reserved space for subsystem expansion (e.g., AIS receiver, weather station, siren/PA).

Deployment & Coverage

  • Typical layout: multiple radars placed along outer perimeter and channel entries; coverage overlap for failover
  • GIS tools assist siting and zone design; simulate blind areas and sea‑state margins
  • Alert policies by time window and asset group; integration to security center

System Parameters

Detection

  • Band: C/X‑band depending on site
  • Small vessel: 3–6 km; floating debris: 1–2 km (sea state dependent)

Networking

  • Node backhaul: fiber / LTE / microwave
  • Synchronization: NTP/GNSS
  • Central: single/multi‑site fleet view

Mechanical & Environmental

  • Marine‑grade coating; IP65/66
  • Operating temperature: −20°C to +55°C
  • Power: AC 220 V or solar‑battery (options)
